It features Messi, Maradona and Pelé, the three most popular '10' in the beautiful game. This is hardly debatable because, although there have been legendary footballers over the decades, Leo, Diego and Edson occupy the top three positions on the podium. Pelé was born in 1930, Maradona was born in 1960 and Messi, in 1987, which forces us to think that geniuses of this magnitude are born approximately every twenty years, which is the minimum time that goes between one generation and the next. 

THE WORLDWIDE AS A HUB

It is impossible to analyze the careers of these three legends without talking about the World Cup, a recurring point of reference on which, in large part, the history of Pelé and Maradona was built. It also happens in the case of Messi, although, for now, without having achieved glory. The Brazilian won three World Cups (1958, 1962 and 1970) and also played in 1966, where Brazil fell in the group stage.
